1.- AIM:
In 2012, Izmir Konak Municipality has established the
Joy and Cartoon Museum to emphasize the peaceful, unifying force of humor as
well as its criticism power and in order to create a joyful cultural
institution,
1.- OBJETIVO:
En 2012, el Municipio de Izmir Konak estableció el Museo de la Historieta y la Alegría para acentuar la
pacificadora y unificante fuerza del humor así como su poder de crítica y para
crear una institución cultural alegre.
Asking: “What Izmir reminds you as a cartoonist?”, it is
decided to organize “Izmir 1st International Cartoon Competition” to contribute
to touristic development and promotion of Izmir.
Con la pregunta: ¿" Qué recuerdos le trae Izmir como
dibujante? ", se ha decidido organizar la " 1ª Competición de
Historieta Internacional de Izmir " para contribuir al desarrollo
turístico y la promoción de Izmir.
2.- THEME:
The theme of the contest is
“Izmir”. Every participant must visualize in his work at least one of the
current or historical things known about Izmir, with a direct or allusive way
but in a humorous manner.
2.-TEMA:
El tema de la competición es "Izmir". Cada
participante debe mostrar con su obra al menos una característica corriente o histórica
de Izmir, de forma directa o alusiva, pero de manera cómica.
3.- RULES :
3.1.- The cartoonists all over the world can participate in
this contest. There is no age limit.
3.2.- The cartoonists, can send their previously published or
participated works in other competitions. However the works, should not be
awarded and must be based on the original idea
of the artist. If the jury considers that some works are imitation,
stolen or extreme inspiration, those works
will be disqualified. The author of an award-winning work with these defects,
although in a post-detection, will be the solely responsible for the
possible copyright issues, and beforehand he accepts to give back his award.
3.- REGLAS:
3.1.- Los dibujantes de todo el mundo pueden participar en
esta competición. No hay ningún límite de edad.
3.2.- Los dibujantes, pueden enviar sus trabajos estén o no
publicados, aunque hayan
participado en otras competiciones. Sin embargo no pueden haber sido premiados
con anterioridad, y debe estar basados en la idea original del artista. Si el
jurado considera que algún trabajo es copiado, robado o de inspiración extrema,
será descalificado. El autor de un trabajo premiado que haya incurrido en estas
prohibiciones, aunque sea detectado con posterioridad, será el único
responsable de las cuestiones de derechos de autor posibles, y de antemano
acepta devolver su premio.
3.3.- Each participant can submit in the contest with a
maximum of three works.
3.3.- Cada participante puede participar en la competición con
un máximo de tres trabajos.
3.4.- The cartoons will not be returned, will be taken in the
Joy and Cartoon Museum’s collection, they can be used for cultural purposes
like posters, brochures and promotional materials. The awarded works will become
property of the Konak Municipality.
3.4.- Las historietas no serán devueltas, serán para la colección
del Museo de Historieta y la Alegría, y pueden ser utilizados para objetivos
culturales como carteles, folletos y materiales promocionales. Los trabajos premiados
serán propiedad del Municipio de Konak.
3.5.-The works selected by the jury will be exhibited and will
also be compiled in a catalogue. All the artists whose works are selected for
this catalogue, will receive a copy and a certificate
of participation.
3.5.- Los trabajos seleccionados por el jurado serán expuestos
y también serán recopilados en un catálogo. Todos los artistas cuyos trabajos sean
seleccionados para este catálogo, recibirán una copia y un certificado de
participación.
3.6.- The artists participating in this contest
automatically deemed to have accepted
these terms and conditions.
3.6.- Los artistas que participen en esta competición lo hacen
aceptando estos términos y condiciones.
4.- TECNIQUE AND DIMENSIONS:
All kinds of techniques, studies in black and white or color
are free. To be original, will be an extra point
in favor of the works.
Digital works will be accepted also. However the works shall
bear the original signature of the person authorized. In both cases, the works
should not be attached to any other sheets. The cartoons must be sized Maximum
A3 (297 X 420 mm) and at least A4 (210 X 297 mm).
4.- TÉCNICA Y DIMENSIONES:
Serán aceptadas toda clase de técnicas, estudios en blanco y
negro o en color. Ser original, será un punto suplementario a favor de los
trabajos. Los trabajos digitales serán aceptados también. Sin embargo en este
caso deben llevar la firma original de la persona que los realizó. En ambos casos,
los trabajos no deben estar atados a ninguna otra hoja. Las historietas deben tener
unas medidas máximas de A3 (297x420 mm y al menos A4 (210x297 mm).
5.- MARKING OF THE WORKS :
Name, surname, telephone number, internet and postal addresses
of the author should be written on the back-sides of all cartoons. Completely
filled Application Form with the size 6X9 cm and a short CV must be included in
the sending envelope.
5.- MARCAS DE LOS TRABAJOS:
El nombre, el apellido, el número telefónico, el correo
electrónico y la dirección postal del autor deben ser escritos sobre la parte
posterior de todas las historietas. El Formulario de inscripción completado con
un tamaño de 6X9 cm y un breve CV también debe ser incluido en el sobre de
envío.
6.- DEADLINE:
Deadline is
02.04.2013. The works must be delivered to the address below by mail, by
courier or by hand against receipt. Damaged works will not be considered.
6.- PLAZO DE INSCRIPCIÓN:
El ultimo día de plazo
es el 02.04.2013. Los trabajos deben ser entregados por el correo, por
mensajero o en mano contra recibo. Los trabajos dañados no serán considerados.

El Jurado publicará los trabajos seleccionados en las

anunciados por los medios de comunicación e Internet.
