PORTOCARTOON 2012

REGULAMENTO

1 RICOS, POBRES, INDIGNADOS é o tema central do PortoCartoon 2012. / THE RICH, THE POOR, THE PROTESTER is the main theme for the 2012 PortoCartoon.

Indicadores estatísticos dizem que o mundo está a ficar mais assimétrico. Os ricos ficam mais ricos e os pobres aumentam vertiginosamente. A crise alarga as desigualdades. E a revolta dos “indignados” estende-se a vários países. Com as redes sociais à mistura. Haverá um tsunami da indignação? À procura de novos tipos de democracia?  /  Statistical indicators show that the world is becoming more asymmetrical. The rich get richer and the number of poor is increasing. The crisis enlarges the inequalities. The “outraged movement” is extending to several countries. With the social networking envolved. There will be a Tsunami of indignation? Looking for new kinds of democracy?

Além da participação com desenhos sobre o tema central, os cartunistas podem concorrer com trabalhos em TEMA LIVRE, como tem acontecido nas edições anteriores. / In addition to participating with cartoons on the main theme, the cartoonists can also send works for the FREE CATEGORY, as per the previous editions.

2 Os artistas que não quiserem concorrer aos prémios podem enviar os seus trabalhos para a secção EXTRA-CONCURSO, indicando-o expressamente. / The artists who do not wish to compete can send their works to the EXTRA-COMPETITION section informing of this decision.

3 3.1. Os trabalhos concorrentes devem ser originais, sendo admitidas quaisquer técnicas gráficas incluindo trabalhos digitais, enviados pela Internet, desde que devidamente ASSINADOS PELO AUTOR e com a indicação expressa de que se trata da IMPRESSÃO NÚMERO 1, ou de um original para este concurso. / Works must be originals and any kind of graphical technique will be accepted, including digital artwork, sent by Internet, if the prints are SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR and if they are indicated as PRINT NUMBER ONE, or a original to this contest

3.2. Podem também ser apresentadas peças escultóricas de humor, em qualquer material. / Can also be presented sculptures pieces of humour, in any kind of material.

4 Os trabalhos podem ter, no máximo, as seguintes medidas:

- empapel, 42x30cm (DINA3)

- peças escultóricas, 42 x 30 x 30 cm

/ The works can have at the maximum the following measures:

- inpaper,42x30cm(DINA3);

- sculpture pieces, 42 x 30 x 30 cm

5 As obras devem apresentar no verso as seguintes informações: nome do autor e endereços; título, secção temática a que se destinam, ano e devem ser acompanhadas por CV do autor (participação em exposições, prémios, publicações...). / The works should present on the reverse the following information: author ́s name and address, title, theme section and year. The author’s CV in Portuguese or English (publications, exhibitions, prizes...) should also be sent.

6 Os trabalhos devem dar entrada na sede do MUSEU NACIONAL DA IMPRENSA até 12 de Março de 2012, acompanhados da ficha de inscrição. / The works should arrive at the PORTUGUESE PRINTING PRESS MUSEUM until March 12th 2012, with the entry form.
